Ohio's summer a cappella group seeks two new voices

3/7/2023

It's that time of year and we are looking for two incredible musicians to fill out the group for summer 2023! We are primarily looking for lower voices (tenor/bari) but we welcome vocalists of all types to audition. Someone who can also do vocal percussion would be a bonus.

We have a lot of fun, but we also learn some tough music. New members will need to learn our pre-existing repertoire in addition to new music, so a high level of independence and attention-to-detail are a must.

See the APPLY page for more info and the audition materials, and feel free to email us at [email protected] or text us (260) 204-1060 with any questions.

We can't wait to hear your audition! ?

2022 Highlights

2022 was full of special moments, beginning with our yearly photoshoot. We spent some time in the sun and shade at this beautiful park in Bay Village, trying to capture how this group might develop in the months to come.

We popped into Tiffin University for a performance at their Music Production & Songwriting camp, and a week later we found ourselves at Baldwin Wallace performing at the A Cappella Camp, run by The Sing Off's own Reggie Bowens.

We closed the summer with a performance at Church of the Western Reserve in Pepper Pike. This intimate and gorgeous space has been one of our favorite venues to perform over the years. We performed for the third time here in August of 2022, and it did not disappoint! Special thanks to Alexandre Marr for hosting us and to David Turben for taking some beautiful photos. 🖤

In addition to more gigs and an early Saturday retreat, we also recorded four singles to be released in 2023. Stay tuned for release info!

Sunday, April 11th is the deadline to apply for Zero to Sixty 2021. This will be the fourth year for Ohio's summer a cappella group, and we'll be doing some distanced performing, recording projects and collaborations with other artists. Plus we finally get to perform the bops that we co-wrote together last year! You don't want to miss out!

Based on current applications, it looks like we still need sopranos & a primary vocal percussionist, but we're accepting auditions for ALL voice types.
